Michael Bush’s age is now 25 years, appears to bat best as a designated hitter in the middle of the lineup.
Busch appeared in nine Minor League games before being called up for his MLB debut last week, and he subsequently appeared in two games at the hot corner for the Dodgers.
MLB is grateful for Bush’s great skill, but the high defensive work needs a lot of improvement and this season with the Los Angeles Dodgers, J.D. Martinez’s inclusion has prevented him from filling that spot. In the minor leagues, the Dodgers have previously tried several positions on the field with Bush, with third base being the most recent one.
Busch was told by Dodgers manager Dave Roberts t ‘keep an eye on Nolan Arenado’ during the three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals despite because busch has not much experience at the position, Robert and Bush’s in-game conversation was caught on camera by Sport LA.
Robert wanted him to understand how much Nolan Arenado meant to at the time. And how he gets into each pitch, his pre-pitch, his glove position. He’s not fast, but he’s one of the best defenders in baseball.
Nolan will get a front-row view of one of the greatest defensive plays ever, in their opinion. Therefore, all he wanted were Nolan’s subtleties.
Arenado has won 10 Gold Glove Awards and six Platinum Glove Awards in his first ten years of professional baseball, making him a near-certainty for induction into the Hall of Fame one day.
But in his opinion, Arenado’s admiration for other players is not limited to him. Roberts advises his team to “always” keep an eye on opposing players so they can continue to learn and improve instead of limiting their knowledge to what their teammates are doing.
